Royal College of Emergency Medicine Part-Funded Places
Are you working in Emergency Medicine? You may be able to access a part-funded place on the Fellowship!
Due to their commitment to address the Gender Pay Gap, the Royal College for Emergency Medicine is generously part sponsoring 4 spaces on the Spring 2021 Leaders Plus Fellowship with £1850 plus VAT each which brings the cost down to £1149 plus VAT per Fellow.
Part-funded RCEM members who receive the subsidised places will commit to hosting a one-off session for other parents within the speciality of Emergency Medicine to support them with combining an ambitious career in Emergency Medicine and parent/carer responsibilities. This is likely to be a session within the Return to Emergency Medicine Programme but Fellows may be asked to organise and design the session themselves outside the Return to Emergency Medicine programme.
The part-funded places for parents in Emergency Medicine are usually very popular. To increase your chances of receiving a place, please specify in your application form how you would use your place to make a difference to other parents in Emergency Medicine.
10% of the last Leaders Plus Fellowship cohort was male, however, to date we haven’t had any applications from male parents working in Emergency Medicine. We’d be delighted to see dads, mums and all genders apply.
We encourage parents from all parts of the UK to apply for these spaces and welcome individuals from all backgrounds.
To apply for this, please indicate on your application form that you want to apply for the RCEM part-funded spaces.
