Application Deadlines

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to our Leaders Plus NHS Fellowship Programme as places fill fast.
Please be advised the last date you can submit an application is:

Monday 03 October 2022 (9am GMT)

 

How to Apply:

  • Please read the commitments listed below and check you agree with the statements.
  • Please ensure you meet the selection criteria (below) and check you are eligible for the Fellowship.
  • Click the link above and complete the short application form. You can create an account and save your progress.
  • There are a limited number of places available and we are regularly oversubscribed, it's advisable to apply early.
  • All applicants complete the same online form and all applications are assessed against the criteria.

We have a number of useful resources that can support you if you're seeking employer funding for your place on the Fellowship Programme.

Your Commitments as a Fellow:
  • Uphold the Fellowship principles
  • Actively contribute to events and workshops (subject to child-related emergencies of course)
  • Support other leaders with babies within and outside the Fellowship cohort
  • Complete every evaluation questionnaire to support Leaders Plus to continuously improve the programme
Fellowship Selection Criteria:
  • Positive Change Agent - the ability to drive change for other leaders with babies and young children
  • Leadership - interest and potential to advance to senior leadership roles in the long term
  • Programme Relevance - candidates who demonstrate how the Programme will be useful to them
  • Commitment to Peer Support - willingness to support other leaders with young children and engage in peer support during workshops
The Investment

NHS Foundation Fellowship: £2290 + VAT for the initial 6 months

NHS Changemaker Fellowship: £1390 + VAT (optional 3-month Fellowship taking place the year after completion of the Foundation Fellowship)

Surgeon - Leaders Plus NHS Fellowship
Hardship Fund Places

We aim to make the Fellowship accessible to all and have a small number of heavily subsidised places available for those ambitious parents who are facing financial hardship. The cost of a hardship-funded place is £30 and you can find out more about the criteria here.
